What the hell is happening!!!??

After the latest patch...i keep getting materials instead of runes when i salvage a gold armor...it already happen to me 4 times in a roll already

I think its luck, I got 2 gold armors since the patch, one turned out to be tanned hide squares, and the other extracted to a nice superior fire =)

Usually the first time that happens, I sell the salvage kit and buy a fresh one... if i dont it seems like that salvage kit keeps doing that.

i really feel sorry to myself man... i got 2 superior vigor in it...but they turn into materials... + they are only common materials

Neither myself not the other 4 people I play with regularly have salvaged a rune since the newest patch - about 15-20 failures in total. Where as before the patch it was an easy 50/50 if not better.

I salvaged a Superior of water magic since the last update. I guess you were really unlucky.

I salvaged 5 out of 6 runes since patch (2 runes were superior )

its just dumb luck

I'm about 25 / 30 so far. Maybe something is wrong with you.

It's normal for the salvage to fail from time to time, but it does seem like I'm failing more now then I did before the patch.
