Farming skills - Mo/W

Im wondering how these monks can farm so well. I find my Symbol of Wrath to be an awesome spell but the cooldown is so damn long. I was mostly a healer until today when I went back to ascalon and messed around with my friend's new character (aoe W/E with glyph of lesser + pheonix/lavafont). Anyways, I heard something about zealot fire and some warrior aura that does damage? I just cant see myself keeping my healing breeze up while waiting for my Symbol of Wrath to recharge while a mob is attacking me and probably regenerating health, if not being healed by a healer.

I'm guessing most farmers pick mobs with no healer, or nuke the healer prior to the aoe (which would waste a couple skills in your bar) Anything to help I would appreciate. By the way I'm only level 15 or so right now, just started this the other day but I'm thinking towards the future.
