How to tame a bear?

Iam trying to tame a bear in the "begin " game.. But i get blockt all the time by it. And in the real game i cant find any bears even trough i get all kinds of tips of em.. but never seen to find one of them.. Can some one help me find one in the 2 years after game or in the begin game.. Thx in advance...

does fast casting affect charm?

I got the normal charm spel.. Is there a other spell for charming then.. Iam a El/Ra..... And were to find the bear? I got these places located from friends:

for all practical intents and purposes, you cannot charm a bear in the tutorial area. wait until you reach the southern shiverpeaks or at least beacon's perch.

Iam in the real game.. Only cant find it... When i do the LORNASS PASS i meet like 24 lvl dudes so i cant look there.. Do you know for sure the bears are there?

yes they're there. you need to go south from beacon's perch, and yes the place is meant for a full party of lv20 "ascended" players. the monsters are strong, so if you can find a party of lv20 players to help you, you might be able to make it.
