Farming Tips For A War/Monk

hey guys i was just wondering if you had any tips for farming with a war/monk.. i have most war skills unlocked but not very many monk skills since i switched my secondary.. any help would be nice thnx =)

I almost farmed hydras in pertition rock (Hydra farming) as an unspecialized E/Mo , just to see how easy it is.

If you cant get it as Wa/Mo youre just ... a Palladin.

Here's a farming tip: make a non Warrior primary. That should help you farm a lot better.

I suppose i can give this info out now.. ive got 350k and only need to unlock 2 runes.

If your a lvl 20 W/mo Just kit your self out with mending,watchers sprit, bonetties deffence & your favorite killing skills. (sprint will help your reload faster)

Head to the settelment north of kryta (out side lion arch) kill the ettins, reload the ettins at the nebos zone.. run back, rinse and repeat, dont bother with the other creatures they are worthless.

If you do this for a few hours you'll get loads of tanned hides and loads of runes even superior and major vigor, oh it feels like christmas..

Oh yeah and do it solo so you get all the runes.

Though I loath farming, I was exploring around in the arid sea area and found lots of good stuff as well... I only mention it cause that is yet another area like Kessex peak that very few ever seem to go into cause there does not seem to be a reason too. but it is worth a look around. Quite a few runes and upgrades in the area... I did a few upgrades to my weapons that I was wanting and scraped the rest. I think I found about 6 runes total in a two pass through period. Lots of stuff to kill and wide areas so no bottlenecks. IT was extremely boring though I just ended up trashing most of the runes cause they were pretty useless to me... And my Monks in my guild didn't want them, so trash time... Personally I don't like those major and superior health penalties, so I just dump them...

My E/N takes them down 3 at a time easily enough: Aura of Restoration, Life Siphon, tab, Life Siphon, tab, Life Siphon, Firestorm, Phoenix, Fireball, laugh, pick up loot. They go down a lot faster than any warrior could melee them (though I do have a bit of downtime between groups). BTW, that's using my all-the-time build/skills. I don't even have to tweak a farming build to do them.

just got 3 major there, all necro, yay! Hope they wont nerf it...
p.s. I made w/mo especially for farming. High AL, so u can run to the farming spot where ignoring all other mobs, healing or smiting - depends on situation. The same with choice of stances and of course ~3 favourite killing skills.

Doesn't matter much now. New rune NPC vendors are now available.

Farming was nerfed in this update, doing anything solo, and you'll stop getting drops after about 5 or 6 kills. There's another post here on it called something like, pattern to drops have you noticed?

still matters unless they "fix" the new vendors...

I would rather unlock superior absorption and vigor myself. rather than buy it, which they havent even made possible (or ez enough) yet.
