Quick Pre-Order Question.

I pre-ordered Guild Wars from Gamestop online last night. Because Gamestop didn't give me any details I am just wondering when I will recieve the Bonus pre-order package stuff. If anyone else pre-ordered from there or knows how that works I would appreciate your help.

you should get an email anouncing shipment and possibly a tracking number

you should get it within a week of shipping

i would check with them if you dont get the shipping email within 2-3 days to make sure it is in stock and not backordered

you should have it in time for the april event if they have it to ship to you

gamestop does not allow upgrade to collectors edition after the preorder is sent so if you are thinking of upgrading do it before it ships

i got the email with the tracking number but it doesnt mention specifically when they sent the pre-order package. It has all the stuff about the main package but nothing about the special part. The original page that I got after preoredering said Guild Wars with bonus, but now when i check the order it just says guild wars, so maybe they sent the bonus package already.

If they sent a tracking number then it is on it's way. Depending on how they ship you can go to that site and trace the information. UPS, FEDex, USPS, etc.

As for what is in the package they may have put a generic label on it becase of the limit on shipping information. Say you ordered a specific package if the price you were charged still matches up then you're all good. If you were billed for a different price then I would contact them now and not wait. Sites that are from a main company don't normally mess up that bad. It's you return business they want.

there should be a tracking link which either goes to the shippers tracking directly or to your gamestop order page where youcan access the tracking info in detail

since you got the shipping email it should be there within one week at most

Bad News. I recieved an E-Mail from Gamestop in reply to my E-mail which was asking them when I would recieve the bonus. They told me that it would ship with the game. I don't know what to do about this. Heres the email:
Dear Customer,

The bonus will be shipping with the game.

You must be talking about the bonus in-game item. They will be unlocked in the game once you activate your account with the retail version.

If you've got a tracking number already, then something shipped (most likely the pre-order kit). If it is indeed the kit, you'll have access to play during the last beta weekend as well as access the 27th (one day prior to release).

Maybe he thought i was talking about the Bonus weapon. However in the initial E-Mail I specifically mention the ability to play in Betas. They gave me a tracking number however it doesnt mention the Pre-Order pack.

if they shipped out the preorder pack and there are codes in it and they email you different codes (pre and friends) you can give 3 away

have you been keeping up with that tracking number and when is the scheduled delivery date?

The scheduled shipping date is the 26th. Thats about all the info it gives me.

then that is the retail pack and not the preorder

at least you will get the passes which should allow you the item as well

when they say tracking number i expect to find it in the hands of fex x ups etc not sitting waiting to ship

as long as i get the Beta keys i dont mind recieveing the bonus pack with the game.
