I'm up to the Iron Mines, and the infusion runs, but I really want to get my armour upgraded to the 60 AL before I waste time doing infusion on armour that I'm not going to keep. I'm ok for materials but really short on gold...So what do people do to farm for the most gold?

sell everything that you really dont want I also salvage alot of the weapons becasue you can get more money for them in lots of 10 than you can get for just selling them out right to the merchants. when your level gets alittle higher like say level 15 go back and kill the level 8 to 12 stuff solo without henchman that way you get all the items and all the gold for yourself. or just take a monk with you so yoru split is only 50/50.

farming on the Char is a good thing to do when you get up in level becasue alot of people need fur and with 4 or 5 char hide you can get fur and then start selling the fur.

I didn't buy anything from user, and with all the items and gold I collected, I paid for my AL 60 and I have 6 plat left and I didn't farm.

I farm in Crystal Desert zones, Talus Chute or Witman's Folly with henchmen.
Even with hench group, you'll still get gold and exp. Salvage stuff. Sell salvaged stuff to trader merchant (the one that buys 10 pcs at a time, not merchant).

I'm level 20 already, Salatious...the problem is this is my first run through the game and I didn't know there would be better armour coming up so soon so I upgraded three of my armour pieces at Henge of Denravi....my scalp and foot pieces are still really old so they need upgrading ASAP, if i'd have known I'd have waited till I got to Droknar's Forge before upgrading. Anyway I have upgraded my chest piece to the 60AL but now I really don't want to infuse the scalp and foot pieces since I won't be keeping them long - but I need to get gold fast in order to do this.

Thanks for the tip on the furs though, I have collected over 100 tanned hides since I've been playing and they are just sitting in storage maybe that will help a little.

rack up the charr hides and turn them into fur squares. you can sell them off to a trader in ascalon for quite a bit of gold. worked for me.

Pray for a gold salvage item. Then pray that it turns out to be a Superior Absorption or Vigor. Then pray that your salvage kit turns it into a rune and not salvage items. Sell rune.

Where is the trader in Ascalon that turns tanned hide into fur? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere but I can't remember...

Start a second character.....go back to pre-sear and farm the catacombs for dye....then sell the dye.

from what I've seen and experienced in the game...it was far easier for me to find dye pre-searing. I don't know if this is the truth it's just an observation.

Where do you farm?? Is there any place except riverside that can be farmed solo and yields good drops as often?

Yeah thats my problem, I'm a healing monk so its hard for me to farm solo. I take henches so my drops seem to be few and far between.

Ebay. You asked, I answered. Yes its sad, its illegal, and its rather pathetic, but its the fastest way.

Outside of sanctum you can turn 5 wood and 20 gold into one parchment, it still costs alot, but its a bit cheaper then buying parchment.

Crank your smiting up to 13 and rock and roll on them.

Zealot's Fire and Symbol of Wrath are your friend, it will be easier with Elite skills, but with fast enough casting skills, and the right healing it can be done with a monk primary.

Don't worry about the refund points you get refund points so fast that it is easy to switch between farming, PvE, or PvP setup.

Or find someone to go with, and duo it. That is a little faster to kill them with, and more fun, but you only get half the drops and experiance. I've even grabbed someone at random in riverside (prior to hitting 20 anyway), just because they could AoE the mobs and finish them before they would kill me.

And remember, it is not farming.

You have challenged yourself to beat this team requirement game alone, or with one friend, but it is really hard. So, you have to keep trying over, and over, and over.
