Idea concerning holy damage

Since monks do double damage to undead (with spells)

Shouldn't undead do double damage to divine magic users (with spells)?

I don't think melee from either class should do double dmg

I may be missing something here but at the moment it makes sense

the "holy" people talk to 'god', God gives them light to smite the world of the undead. The undead sit there and go "buuuaallahh" Or if they are intelligent, they are just selfish and don't want help from the man downstairs, not that he cares about them.

To be honest, it's the undead that I have the most problem beating in this game. I'm very glad they possess a weakness.

Undead should do reduced damage vs holy property armor, since holy is strong against undead =P

they're divine thus undead deal more damage..

that's like oh I have an armor which reduces damage from Fire attacks, so water attacks must deal extra damage =/

I do think necros should have some kinda nuts spell that turns them undead though, so they can be smiten!

was just a thought, and not one I even agreed with, but I was kinda interested to see what ppl would have to say about it.

Reason it came to mind is that my 2 characters are a necro and a monk

Oh yeah, btw, keep in mind that I was talking about Magic attacks. Not melee attacks.

Holy damage has bonus against Necros/undead and dark damage has bonus against Monks(This goes with Necro Death Magic and monk smiting spells as well as weapons with specified damage). I know, I'm a Necro/Mo, I deal both.
