Dying a Chaos Axe.

I'm having some trouble, here.

I just dyed my Chaos Axe orange, and it came up green. So, as a result, I figure it must have some weird mixing configuration instead of a write-over, so I attempted dying the now green chaos axe yellow, which resulted in a blue axe. Obviously, there is something wrong with this system.

Now I'm looking to take this now green again chaos axe, and make it slightly darker to match the armor I'm sporting, so I turn to black. Though, I don't have the gold to just start tossing in attempts. I was wondering what happens if I dye the axe black, and what happens if I dye the axe green-black mixed.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Maybe the chaos axe already comes with dye. I know the ranger's fur set is already blue. If you use dye remover on it, it becomes brown.

You may want to try dye remover first....

Alrighty - I'l test that. Though, I thought that dyes ALWAYS went over a previous dye, and didn't actually mix with it. I haven't noticed anything denying this, as I have never used dye remover before.

nope, chaos axes do that... there's a list somewhere on these forums... I think I did a search for "colors" and it came up.

I just left it with the green I was using as black dye sets me back a bit.
