Guild PvE

Will this happen? Concept:
A few towns/outposts with an enter mission option, for a guild....A raidforce of up to 20 members. Enter mission and there are level 30-40 monsters, with maybe upgrade materials on new armor? Nicer weapons etc.

No.
Why?
Because what about us that aren't in a guild?
We wouldn't get that benefit.
And don't tell me to join a guild either.

to balance it out, maybe make it very expensive to go on such a mission? ($20k -> 1k per member going in)

Sounds awesome, raid missions. I now await the trolls who say "Go play WoW you nub!!!!111oneone OMGZ!"
This sounds uber awesome, I would love to do this. Imagine doing a Ring of Fire raid... :O

Caco, if your not in a guild, in Guildwars, you either have little time to play, dont want to play a MMORPG for social interaction, you haven't found one that you like, maybe a few other reasons I missed. If your not in a guild, why even post feedback? For me beating the game mission wise took the aid of 5-7 of my guildmates EVERY mission, I'm not sure how you did it. but it's pretty amazing if you beat it with only pick up groups(PUGs). Im talking about a guild that has 20+ members, who play theyre characters frequently and have nothing left in this game to do but make a new character, and play the same missions over and over again. Because of our 8 member GvG group build(only one we have won with), usually 10 members are left doing nothing. I want to have an experience with my whole guild in Guildwars, not just 7 of them.

As for this idea, I like it. For the Caco-Cola's out there, if you dont want to be in a guild I dont see why something like this would bother you. It's nothing you will have to deal with, since your not in a guild.
Caco-Cola
Aaaagh: The reason it would bother us is he's proposing that the weapons and what not be better than the ones we can normally get.
If they were the same weapons just harder creatures/more XP than that's fine but when you HAVE to do certain parts of the game (such as joining a guild) to get the better items then it becomes a problem. And I know someone is gonna say 'well I don't wanna do the missions but I have to to get to [blank]'.
People would start selling these better guild items for like 10-20k, money I don't have.
Why? I don't farm, that's why. I have 6k usually.
I have my fair share of time to play.
I actually love social interaction, that's why I play MMOs over single players.
Yah, the 'I haven't found one I like" arguement is the correct one.
But yah I did actually beat the game with PuGs. I have the map if you'd like to see it.
Actually I would bet that a lot of people beat the game with PuGs because there had to be other people in my PuGs...soo yah.

Oh, I agree with you on the items issue Cola. I dont think they should be any better, perhaps a better chance of dropping.
I still advocate for a guild PVE area with uber mobs, but I dont think anything there should have better drops.

I've no problems with harder monsters and what not.
The problem I have is with this:

Well, there has to be SOME reason we'd want to go out and do it. I mean... if you're taking on level 30-40 you're probably all level 20. So no one wants the experience. If it's going to be really hard, what's the point going to be? It has to be SOMETHING..
Whether it's a better drop rate, or better drop items, or upgrades for your guild hall.. it has to be something. PvP'ers get something for their time, after all.

A 1/8 chance to get a sigil (much smaller once you take into account how often someone does/doesn't get to HoH).
And PvErs wouldn't be getting the benefit, guilders would.
There's a difference.

I think it should take teamwork.Everyone working together as a force to bring down up to ten or so level 40 mobs. This should be rewarded, if the level cap remains at 20, and we have every skill, why would we do this for exp? Better items should be otainable. Maybe not on every mob, just the boss. If you do not have 10-20k why are you protesting this? The decent items out now go for 40-300k. As of now you should be concerned with what you cannot obtain in the present, not the future. If guild PvE wasnt rewarded with something better than group PvE, why would we play it? /End.

[QUOTE=Ytrill]but it's pretty amazing if you beat it with only pick up groups(PUGs). I did it that way with my monk. my former guild was no help at all since it's one of those 'clique' guilds.
It's very possible!

But once you add in the 'Guild Only!' aspect then I can't get said items unless I have the money to buy them from people in guilds.
Thus people in guilds become (more) wealthy and people outside guilds become less wealthy, having to grind more because they aren't guaranteed an expensive weapon drop on the boss (which seems to be what you want to happen).
And farming isn't fun, so don't even mention it.
Instead of "GUILD ONLY!" Have it be say, ascension only, infused only, completed-game only. Something everyone can obtain through normal play.
Perhaps have the normal mission, the bonus mission, and the 'elite' mission. Elite having to be chosen from the list and it featuring high-end missions.
