Iron Mines bugged?

Hey all,

I've done Iron Mines before but now I'm back with my second char. Anyway, when we get to where Markis is supposed to be, he isn't there. Some people said you have to do teh Seer thing for him to spawn, but we did that and he didnt spawn. Is this a known problem?

After you talked to Seer, head east and there's a path leading to a frozen lake, follow that path will take you to a cavern with two groups of Mursaat monk/mesmer/white mantles. After you travel through that cavern, you will end up in the backyard of their stronghold, and there you should find Markis. He is in the back surrounded by four brown statues, which turn into jade armors once your aggro circle touches them. There also some Mursaat elementals and enemy rangers but they are easy to dispose of.

There is a bug in that quest. My group was going to do the bonus so went to go talk to who we had to. This white mantle knight comes running up to us so we figure we will take care of him and move on but when we did it was markis in disguise and mission done. It said white mantle knight and looked like one but it was markis it happened to me 3 times while trying to get bonus done.

Dude, I said I've done Iron Mines before. You don't need to explain how to get to him; I'm telling you I went to the little fort area and he wasn't spawned there.

Anways, I went back and did it again and he was there on the 4th attempt. It was quite annoying to have to do a mission 4 times because of a glitch.

Weird, all the time i'v done that mission he was always here, and sometime you could see him to your right running in the same direction
