Hey to claim my award, it says talk to oswalt... but he's dead... right? Thats why his wife even made up the quest and if u talk to his wife, i forgot where she is.

His ghost appears over the stone once you reach it and carve the inscription into it. He appears about two seconds after you do so.

umm i think i disconnected right after i got to the stone... so now i cant find it again...

I think this quest is bugged. I don't remember seeing a ghost when I inscribed the headstone. I've been back to the headstone after zoning (the waypoint for Oswalt's Epitaph when I'm in Traveler's Vale is the passage to Ascalon Foothills) but no matter how many times I activate it, no ghost appears. I even cleared the entire zone, trying to find the supposed ghost, but nada. Too much wasted time for a measly 500xp.

I've done the same thing and finally abandoned this quest.

had some problems with that one at first as well. on first attempt i just clicked the grave and left...then on second attempt i waited for the ghost to appear, talked to him and everything was fine.

I abandoned it and did it all over and finally finished it. Apparently if you don't activate the headstone the first time after you get the Quest Update and talk to the ghost, you're out of luck. But the quest gives you no clue that you're too late; just bad programming, i.e. a bug.
