Armor Suggestion

Hello all,
I'm new here and new to GW, but I have a suggestion to make.

How about putting the armors that are designed for level 13 and 15 characters in areas that people are capable of getting to before they're level 20?

I have a level 16 ranger who has just (barely) made it to Lion's Arch, using the same old armor he's been using since he's level 10...and I still can't get anything better than what I have.

What's the point of having AL49, AL55, and AL60 armors in the game, if you can't reach the people who make them before you can get AL70 instead? Do those armors just exist for twinks who have powerful friends who lead them through areas they have no business being in?

If there's something I'm missing let me know, but I really don't want to waste my hard earned steel and leather on something that'll be obsolete by the time I can get to it.

What is this "AL 70" armor you speak of?

I think they're there to just be there. I've used every AL except one (51) because I didn't see the point in going from 45 to 51 thne to 60 when it cost 1k for each 51 armor piece.

Little did I know my AL 60 armor would cost 1.5k each but at least it was the best available.

I've seen a couple of websites list the various armors that are available. Here's one:

AL70 armor is supposedly available when you get to DroknarsForge, though you have to be level 20 to get it. AL60 and AL55 is supposedly available at level15, and AL49 is supposedly available at level 13, though I wouldn't know since it seems like you have to be level 20 before you can get to anywhere that can make anything better than AL40(which is what I currently have at level 16).

Just out of curiosity, what level were you when you found someplace that let you make AL 49, and AL60?
