Is there a listing of which skill is given as reward from which quest ?
It would be very useful, for example I wanted to learn Phoenix and Immolation from the teacher at the Courthouse but I loathe to burn the neccessary skill points. I fear that I would only find out 15 minutes later that a certain easy quest has this skill as a reward.
So, is there such a list ?

Not that I know of.
As a general rule though, you can avoid buying skills from any of the main towns, as they almost always have quests associated with those skills. The harder to reach non primary towns usually have skills that aren't available via quest.
Personally (after going through the game once and not knowing any better), I'm only going to use quest skills until I end the game with my other characters, and after everything is explored... then fill in the holes with buying skills. I think pve is easy enough that you can get buy with just the skills you pick up on the way.

After some mucking around, I found the answer to my question. There is a listing at this page :

which lists every skill for every class and which trainer that teaches it and those that
he thinks are only available from trainers are highlighted in red. Now is there any guru here available to check the list out and see if it has some errors. If not maybe we can declare the list "officially approved by the Gurus" and have it linked to in the stickied post.
