Pre-sear quest: The Hunter's Horn

I have the horn in inventory (can't equip) and I take it to spring. I've splashed around in the water, tried dropping the horn and picking it back up, but can't get my quest log to move me along to the next part of the quest. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try clicking on the spring. It didn't update for me until I double-clicked the spring.

There is a point in the water where text appears saying "Purifying Spring" or something like that. It's easy to locate with the help of the Alt button. All you have to do is click on that point, and the quest will move forward.

There is a very small area in that pool (near the waterfall) where you can click and dunk the horn in the water (or whatever it is you need to do). You just need to scan the area slowly.

You can actually complete that quest? I've had this issue twice now and chose to simply ignore the quest as it was broken. I had no idea I could simply click on the spring. I'd say this should be changed such that once you enter the spring, the quest moves on. I'm sure there are many more people who have experienced this bug, and have been left confused.

Meh, I want my experience points!

Hold down the Alt key while in the water - you will see the spot you need to click to finish the quest.
