Forum DB Errors

At this point I'm sure you're getting bombarded with forum database error emails. I figured I'd post here and let you know that it's happening about every 2-3 threads for me, and there are threads I cannot post in. The errors are popping up constantly.

Database errors go straight to /dev/null

Been browsing, not seeing any. Likely its due to the extra load caused by the ads (isn't that just great!). Getting a new one for that soon.

Yeah I having one heck of a time trying to do anything atm on the forums. I constantly get blank pages with just the adds at the top and refreshing about 10 times to get a page to load correctly if it ever does. been like this all day. :/

And I have got one of those pages saying there was a DB error and it was sending a e mail one time. not sure if that amounts to much.

Ok. Just letting you know then. It happens sporadically. Appears to be a somewhat heavy load right now. As a developer I can appreciate the scaling issues when you have many (100+) users reading the forums at the same time.

We are doing some things that will hopefully clear up any problems.

Ads disabled, should save a couple hundred thousand queries per day

Fixed - a perl program was executing a dozen copies of itself in an infinite loop.
