Hey sry i know this is a redundant question but...

Can someone tell me what a good 2nd profession for my ranger would i want someone powerful, like a ranged offensive monster or close doesnt matter i just want him to be powerful, any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Power" means damage to you right?

there's only one secondary prof you should get: A warrior.

A Ranger/Warrior is all about "power"

power to me means staying alive so i can run away and come back to hit them again

How about Ranger/Elementalist? Try to find a bow or a bow string with an elemental damage to upgrade with, and then use the Elementalist's Conjure Element spell that corresponds with your bow's damage type.

oh cool so you mean i could charge the arrows up with elementalist powers then shoot it, would you suggest this over the r/w combo?

Getting ele as secondary for the conjure spells isn't unusual. So yes, you can charge your arrows up with an element but only if your bow is using that element.
