Mystery of the Extra HP Point
paulniswander
I'm very puzzled about this, so I'll try and expain it as best I can. You see, I have 151 HP points when I think I should have only 150. Here are my Character stats....
E/Mo lvl 9 -- (Hp count is 100+160=260)
Super Air and Fire -- (260-150= 110)
Major Vigor -- (110+40=150!!)
I hope you understand my math. The wierd thing is that I don't have 150HP points...I have 151!!
The only thing I can figure is that I first had applied a minor vigor, and then applied a major vigor over it. That's actually when I first noticed the bug. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
EDIT: Oh yea, i forgot to add that neither my weapon and focus do not have any hp mods to them.
Any suggestions or information is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

enjoy the extra 1 hp...its in your favor! (all i can think of is that vigor runes are actually not 30 40 and 50 but more like 30.2 40.5 and 50.X)

That's very odd indeed.
I don't know the answer.
All I know is that HP stands for Hit Point, so an HP Point is a Hit Point Point. Sounds pretty silly.

If this happened when you were out in the field, then it could be a morale boost.

Just in case anyone reading this wanted a real answer...i found it out.
After the patch, Major Vigor now gives 41 to everyone, instead of the normal 40 point hp boost.
I figure they will eventually fix this.

Wow, why would anyone want to take a 150 HP loss at level 9!? That's more than half your HP.

Well, the plan is to not get hurt, right? =-}
More reasonably, that requires some real cash to want to put it on temporary armor. I'm assuming you haven't got the final armor for that character, so those runes may be trash later.

Cash is no big deal if you've already got a high level alt. But as for the idea of not getting hurt, I sure hope that was sarcastic. The squishies are always the first to get targeted, beven by the mobs with their limited AI.

Also, at that level, I'd probably be focusing on one stat, not trying to be good in two.
