"rotting flesh" and/or "tainted flesh" in pvp....:(

rotting flesh and tainted flesh both have the same end result...desease on the target (-4 health degen).
with rotting flesh you throw it upon a target, with tainted flesh (on an ally) everyone gets deseased who hits that ally in melee.

now desease got a special feature compared to other hexes: it spreads to multible targets, but only to those of the same kind as the initial target.

so far i played my mesmer in pvp, but now i wanna take my necro into the arena.
now before i take one of those skills with me into the arena, pls clarify one thing for me:

since desease spreads to multible targets of the same kind and all playing characters being humans, does it spread to my own team members too? that would be logical (but would suck regardless )

i'm eager to know this cause i don't wanna risk to get my team yelling at me .

Wandering my own road.

Yes, disease will infect your teammates.
Tainted Flesh will make a party member immune though, so at least that person wouldn't get infected.

damnit!

yeah, honestly i could already "smell" that kind of answer.
rotting flesh is imo pve-wise one of the best spells for a necro in the game...basically -4 AREA health degen.

i'm looking at necrotic traversal atm. yes, it requires a corpse, but area poison (-4 degen) doesn't look too bad regardless.

oh well . ty for the quick reply.

Necrotic Traversal only works on monster corpses, not player corpses, making it effectively useless in PvP.
