question about buying the game

i was curious if any1 knew what countries this game wil be available in, iit says that it will be sold at electronic boutique we have that in australia , however when i rang them up they told me they still havn't heard if they will be geting guild wars or not>.<, still not listed, they won't even preorder it for me-_-, and i can't preorder on website since i don't have credit card>.< but yeh me and my father really wanted to buy this game and start playing so if any1 has any information on whether it willbe out in australia or not that would be great!! thx

Arenanet have been finalising a deal with EB in the last couple of days, so it should get there eventually.
I ordered mine online, with a credit card, from www.GamesMarket.com.au and I received the preorder package in the mail the very next day, excelent service!

If you REALLY want the game, on time at that, your best bet might be ordering online.

EB are the only retailers supplying it in Australia. The other option is to download the client and purchase the key online but It's actually MORE expensive that way. Make a trip to your nearest EB to purchase.

When i purchased the game I quickly rushed home to try it out. I couldn't seem to get my key to work. It was then i realised that the date and time I could use the key was in a differnt time zone! Using truty google I found a worldwide time site and realised I couldn't play for another 2 hours 15 mintues and 27 secconds!

2 hours 15 minutes and 30 secconds later I was creating my first character still dumbfounded that Australia hadn't been forced to wait an extra month or two before being able to purchase.

I disagree. EB's selling it for $90 compared to buying the key off NCSoft for a little over $60.

So can anyone report having actually seen a box of Guild Wars on an EB Games (Australia) shop shelf?

Also, what's EB Games (Aust) web site? Tried www.ebgames.com.au and www.electronicsboutique.com.au and both came up as doamin not found, even www.ebgames.com didn't seem to provide a link to the australian site (store locator only provide geographical address), I want to check if they have stock before I drive out to the local shop (and on dial-up so can't phone them without disconnecting). Surely they have a web site?
