Page slowdown yesterday... ads?

Hi, I noticed yesterday that the forums were loading painfully slow for me and seemed to pause where the ads would load.

Now that the ads are gone, its nice and fast again.

did anyone else experience this? Was this just because the adserver was being slow?

Yes, I experienced the same thing. I'm on a 2.5kbps download connection, and the site reminded me of the old dialup days. Today it's working like normal again.

Yep - the server got weighted down.

We are ordering a separate server for the ads.

I'm on AoL, no more complaining .

I play gw on AoL with teamspeak on and a 5 year old comp.
