RPG Chars in PVP - any use at all?

Hi,

I have levelled my RPG char to lvl 20 and successfully farmed enough money to buy everything for PVP.

Now my question is: Is there any reason at all to do the last few missions in Fire island in order to participate in PVP (tombs) with my current char?

Right now I can't think of any advantage a RPG Char could possibly have in the tombs over a PVP char I started from the scratch.
I can give all my items to the PVP char, and unlocked skills in the future will be immediately available to him.

Am I missing sthg here? Are there some bonuses only RPG chars get when participating in PVP?

no bonuses for rp chars except you can get cooler looking armor. 15k armor sweetness is worth it because you cant win the hoh without it

unless you need to capture a skill from the last couple missions no their is no reason really except for the skill points.

k thx I think I can live without that armour ^^.
just wondering cause I just got my hands on a very cheap sup vigor and dont want to apply it on the armour of the wrong char, as I have not unlocked it.

they are the same seeingas you will be working off of the same skill base ... same weapons armor (exceptthe pretty stuff) ... so there is no real advantage to selecting a pvp over a rp or a rp over a pvp

for this reason i have 4 characters and have unlocked a fair percentage of the skills, somewhere near 75% ... and in the end I will likely kill off 1 or 2 of my rp characters for pvp space. My farmer I will likely keep for monatary value etc. and any that I have grown to attached to ... but i will definately knock out my warrior so I can just call on him or the appropriate class at any time in the tombs.

Ok as I think more about it, I have discovered that I will have less flexibility with the PVP char. Is it correct that there is no way to change the armour of a PVP char?
If thats true, ill be forever stuck to the kind of armour I wear, regardless whether I know that I will fight, for example as ele, another fire ele or an air ele.
Same goes for the helmet, if i choose a different skill line ill suddenly have the worthless +1 from the helmet.
Is that correct?

Well for the countering different types of attacks by changing armors from your example of fire and air eles. You're kinda screwed there.

On the 2nd part about changing skill lines. There is no loss in deleting a pvp character and making a new one. It's a hassle, but it only takes a couple minutes to do so. But it's what I do. I have 3 RP characters and 1 PVP character I make depending on what's needed.

Same here. Just make a new PvP char depending on your strategy!

How do you "give all your items" to your PVP char?

Here is the situation I am in: My RPG char is lvl20 but I have not finished the game. I have unlocked very few runes but I do own a number of runes I have acquired through trading. When I make a PVP character, I do not have access to these runes unfortunately. Is there a way I can give them to my PVP character? Or must I "unlock" them before my PVP char will ever have access to them?

Put them in storage with your PvE character, then access the storage with your PvP character.
