Im still having a mixed reaction to this becasue now this will allow u to get runes whenever, but selling will be even harder to players and without that acution house.....this will make WTS even more difficult....so what are your guys thoughts?

Should still be a market for Unidentified runes if nothing else.

Except,

I got a quote from the rune trader for my Major Illusion, 25 gold.

WTF? I can sell that anywhere for 10 times that without blinking. Plus the prices are not really any lower that I found (39k for some superior I wouldn't wear).

Of course there wer no Superior Sword, Absorbtion, Vigor.

At this rate it has done no good.

And they made Riverside very difficult to solo, if at all. So money will be tight. I think we all lost.

The only think to do would be to make it where runes cant be traded only sold to the rune trader

I think they wanted to feed the community in a shallow hope to lower prices of the expensive runes... maybe they up'd the drop rate of rare/purple items during missions for a better rune outcome... but i don't know... the money situation is getting worse and worse... at least they're trying...

I still suggest converting money...copper silver gold platinum... all platinum as is becomes silver... dropping the gold amounts... making it Superior hardness to get maxed gold... while the prices raise... it will raise slower if they keep their position with the bots/gold efficiency... 1000/1 and then having 1 platinum would be worth... 1,000,000 of what we call platinum now... i think it would take alot longer to have the economy fall... and in that time, they can find even more workable money sinks... cause time is what you need in a game like this... All prices would have to be adjusted as well... but i think in the long run it would be for the better...

I think the runes work like the sigils and other items, the more that are sold to the merchant, the lower the price he buys them back for, and just after the patch went out, the rune merchants were flooded with runes, so the first people who got on and sold the runes got lucky, and as the night went on the prices went down. So those that logged on late are getting nothing. Give it a few days and check the prices again.
I also think that the merchant wont sell the rune to you if 1)he doesnt have any left (like the sigils) 2)havent unlocked the rune yourself previously.

hold on to 'em for a bit, till the market stabelizes. Its only out of wack now because so many people are buying/selling to the trader at once. Once the market stabelizes in a week or so you'll find those major's worth more. And if not, you can undercut what the trader is selling 'em for (even 100 gold can do the trick) (most majors she was selling for 5-10k when I looked). She just had so many in stock at the time you tried to sell to here that yea, they were pretty worthless.

give it a little time then check her out. you might be suprised.

A total farce the prices are idiotic, and where are you going to get the cash to pay for them now that they have pretty much destroyed farming?

as an experiment i dragged the Major Vigor in the box and BAM! it was 16K, i quickly cleared table then put it back in to see if it adjusted, did it ever, IF i would have bought it the first time I would have paid 5k MORE!!! it went from 16k to 11K to 13K in 10 seconds!!!

Minor vigor was selling for 700gp max i saw.

I like the way it sets a price point so ppl dont abuse the sales of them, but for downfalls we will see how it goes.

well if i can get 5-10k for each major, then its to my benefit since i *****d riverside for 100+ runes in a week.. maybe i can reap in the benefits now

plus, still got 20 unidentified majors

Great...finally I can sell off my runes at a decent price without wasting time trying to sell to PCs...they are taking too much space.
