Watch guild battles

One way to set up a good sink and also add a whole new cool portion to the game would be to set up hourly matches that you can watch for 100 gold or something; Advertise all around town (there would be banners that show different guild badges every hour) and make the guild wars a big deal, and set an arena-type area up where people compete for a prize and others can watch them.

Basically make a big gladitorial arena where two teams compete for some prize (like 50% of the money that the audience pulls in), and make them big events (so people anticipate and attend the battles).

*shrugs* I don't know; I know I would like to watch the way some people fight, and think it would be very entertaining both watching and playing a battle (very good entertainment if you are bored or something).

I believe Gaile announced a while ago that this was going to be implemented. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I think it's a great idea to make a gold sink out of it. However, how would PvP chars get to watch?

There would be a special PvP character portal in the competition arena island for PvP chars only.
