I've had it with them. I've been stuck there for days trying to make progress. I'm a level 20 Ranger (pure ranger now), I'm a conscientious group leader when I'm leading and I listen to the leader when I'm not. I've had it with:

1. Having to beg lvl 14 monks to join me
2. Being kicked out of groups for being a ranger
3. Having people run off and aggro a swarm of Jade Scarabs then quit the first time they die.
4. Having idiots run out through the portal while i'm still trying to explain the res signet each is a good idea.
5. Monks having the worst internet connections in the world.

venting over.. have a nice day.

I'm going to help some noob friends find their feet in the early post searing missions tonight instead

Using henches smartly in the crystal desert is a lot better than a pug I found. With the exception of desntiny's gorge to Thirsty River I've been everywhere with them and it works great.

CTRL + SPACE to focus fire mobs, this will also command all your henches to attack one mob.
CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE to target mobs, henches will attack when you get into range or when the mob enters your agro radius.

If you're a ranger, I'm sorry, but you have no excuse to be stuck in the desert. At least not getting to the missions. Rangers are perfect for running. Get Dodge, Storm Chaser, and Whirling Defense and use your head. The white circle on your radar is aggro range. Keep red dots out of it. Make friends with the henchmen and maybe another ranger that knows what he's doing. It's not hard. Especially with your particular class.
