After reading some of the complaining (and yes "whining") entries in this forum, after the last update, I feel compelled to write this: Guild Wars is one of the best and most fun games I've ever played, and the recent updates only improve on this.
- Next to a full-time job I can maybe play 1-2 hours a day, and I don't want to waste any time on repetetive or dull actions (I can do that in my real-life job). This is the first online game where I don't have to do this, and the most recent updates only improve on this, which is great.
- Guild Wars is by far the most beautiful game I've ever played: From the rural pre-searing Ascalon to the jungles of Kryta, everything simply looks stunning.
- I don't care about having absolutely the best armor, weapons, etc. The focus on finding skills, learning how to combine them, and work together with (or counter) the skills of other classes is so much more fun.
- The whole installation and update process is so smooth, and so much better than any online game out there, it's simply miraculous.
- I have never seen an online game where the developers have been so responsive, and so quick, in their updates.
My ranger and her cat are enjoying every minute in Guild Wars, and with the recent updates it's only getting better!
ANet is doing a great job. Period.

the recent updates are awesome, and as a company blizzard can't compare to arenanet. this is by far the best run online game, and though the style might not suit all gamers, the main ones bashing it are WoW-players who are sore because their blizzard customer service and maintainence sucks so much.
