Account Confusion ?!?!?!

I purchased Guild Wars last night and installed the game and it runs perfectly. I create my account and within hours I can not recall the account name that I used, Is there any way I can retrieve what my account was or can I create a new account. Any insight would greatly be appreciated !!!

did you get an email from GW? if not, you must've typed it wrong. try to contact GW.

I can't remember for sure, but I could have sworn that I had to confirm my email in order to play...
Just double checked it and yes you have to click on a link to confirm the address. So Find the email...

I had a similar problem:
First, check your e-mail for a mail from Anet. If you dn't have an e-mail then you may have just given someone a new account through e-mail typo. If you do have an e-mail you need to click it to verify your account. As was said, your mail address is your logon name and if you don't remember your password they can send you a new one.

contact Anet right now (since it was recent your odds are better) Explain that you made a typo when entering your e-mail address, give them as close an approximation as possible to the time that you registered and tell them you still have your cd key and (if you do) know the password. Tell them also that you have other proofs of purchase...
Also, you could try re-registering with the same passkey. If the e-mail account you entered doesn't exist then the registration may not have worked.
