Infusion "since" update

My question is being posed simply because I made an error in judgment. I had decided to swap a piece of armor for one of a different group (air armor boots from fire armor boots). My question is sectional, so bear with me.

1. The 'post-update' infusion states that

"The seer now infuses all of your currently worn pieces of armor, but the infusion effect is slightly reduced in power in order to preserve the intended challenge of the following missions."

Does this mean that the infusion effect is different for those who infused AFTER the update as opposed to those who, through dedicated running and battling, infused BEFORE the update in five extremely tedious missions? Is it the same either way for before and after?

2. Which leads to question 2 in that since I now have one piece of armor that is currently not infused, but will be, is all of my armor affected by the 'soon to be' new infusion or will I simply infuse the other piece and it will add to the overall effect?

My plan is to have a set of armor that has runes X and a set that has runes Y, that was why this all came about. If you know, please tell. I'd really like some factual information on this. Thanks!

1. i would think all infused armor would now reflect the weaker status, but dont know for sure. only way would find out would be to do some statistics on damage received, etc.

2. not a clue.

It would seem fairer to me, as all those who made many accomplishments BEFORE the patch (cough cough VILLAINY) are getting gimped, that the older infused armors keep their old, stronger bonus.

Actually, I'm almost done with the Mursaat anyways, so whatever.

I'm pretty sure it applies to everyone. I was fully infused prior to this update and the Mursatt were doing 3 dmg to me. Now after the update they do 9 dmg.

I agree that pre-patch infusion should be higher quality, however this would involve far more tinkering than simply altering the numbers involved for infusion. Were they to separate them they'd have to create in the game two different "kinds" of infusion armors, this way there's still just one, but they made it lower and changed the quest to affect all armor.

Just a note to the new infusion and those who are partially infused. (Maybe it was just for me or maybe for everyone.)

It seems when you try to infuse, it checks all your armor to see if any are infused. If even just ONE armor is infused, it'll assume all of your armors are too. So in this case, the Seer will do nothing even though you still need an armor infused.

In order to counter this, just take off the infused armors so the only armors you're wearing are the ones needing to be infused.

Not true for everyone. I was partly infused before the patch, I think I had one piece infused. I did the infusion run today, the Seer did give me a dialogue, sometihng about infusion on my armour, then I checked in my inventory window and all my armour now shows up as Infused. So that must just be a bug cos it is not happening with everyone (worth checking though)

Same thing as me - had 2 pieced infused before, talked to her got them all infused. On my other char I had none infused, talked to her, got them all infused.

Seems to work quite fine.
