The Update Ruined my Game

this new update has done more harm than good. First they nerfed my main source of income. A area i thought was my secret farming spot but no they changed all that around added more guys with spells specially for people who try to farm.

Then Rune Traders. they are so stupid so you can now buy runes anytime u want yet you still cant sell your runes for more than 25gold. Thats another way they stop you from gaining money.

I dont think areanet udnerstands that people farm because they dont wanna waste 30minutes tryng to get small amounts of gold. Instead of nerfing farming spots why they they try increasing the amount of gold dropped from the monsters.

After this update i have almost stopped playing. I have completed whole game and farming was only way left to get money but now i cant do that so what is left for me to do.....

yeah i kinda went like o_O when i saw he was giving me 25 gold for some of my major runes. But this is the "offer & demand" market. But maybe they could add a minimum at what you can sell em... 100-200 minor... 400 major... something like that.

the thing is i dont like wasting time killing meaningless creature for hours on end and getting maybe 1 rare weapon where i can farms and get 3 rares in 15min

You can still sell your runes on the secondary market. The trader hasn't killed that, just set fair prices. Look at dyes - the dye trader keeps prices in check, but people still buy dyes from each other all the time.

I agree with you on farming spots (though they say that big changes are coming next week that will greatly reduce the need for farming), but there are still other places. The white mantle are still pretty good - not huge amounts of gold, but easy to kill and decent items.

It looks like a great game, but I don't think you can farm in it either.

As if farming is the end-game or something? As if anyone cares that you have 5000000k? Whenver someone brags about excessive amounts of money first thing to my mind is 'man get a life'.

hey i never said farming is end of the game. i have finished the game which obviously ur still in pre searing. There is nothing else to do after you have done all the missions absolutely everything. My last thing to do in the game is buying the fissure armour hence the need for farming. But now i just cant be bothered so i will have to wait for expansion befor ei start playing again.

Pre-searing? What do you mean? What's pre-searing? Does something happen after I do the academy? I'm scared now...

So I take it you don't consider PvP to be the end-game? I do. I consider HoH and arenas to be the end-game.

But to each his own I suppose. As I said they have your money. You quitting is actually doing them a favor, less server load, which means less chance it'll crash from your actions and less upkeep they have to do. They don't get payed monthly so it really doesn't matter if people quit playing at this point.

Urgh, people have got to stop starting threads to complain about how the patch affected their game. Come on, the update happened a while ago and there are many threads going about the advantages and disadvantages about the recent patch. Post to one of those.

Weird. I started a new E/Mo a couple days ago, and I've only been doing missions and skill quests. I've found roughly ~10 minor and ~3 major runes on the missions alone and I've just gotten to the Frost Gate.

Yes I sold them to the Rune merchant, I just don't have the patience for the trade system. -_-

If gaining gold was the only thing you were playing for then the game was already ruined for you.
