i think you mean its been salvaged into a rune graphic?
(where you actually see the picture of the rune, that's why you know its a
major/vigor type?)
if its been salvaged you mind as well id it.
but if you mean that the rune is still in the armor (& not yet slavaged). most ppl would not even touch it, since its not physically a rune yet.
just my opinion. ie. who would want to spend 80k on a superior vigor unsalvaged, only to find it became a tanned hide.
you might get more buyers if its already been salvaged.

If the guy is selling an un-ID'd rune, it's been salvaged. And he knows it's a Vigor rune cuz all vigors look alike. And Majors have a unique size. It's worth more than 12k, easily. You can sell it to a Rune Trader around 10-11 PM EST for 13+k after you ID it (which is almost no cost ... 4 gold, I think it works out to).

no one will buy the major vigor for like 10k+ it annoys the heck outta me, so im just starting it at 12k. and it is salvaged all you have to do is id it and youll unlock it, its was a like expansion from last wens, when you get blue purp or gold armours you can expert out the runes before you id them, but you only see its like symbol/size, ie a major vigor is a rectangle with like a white trident in it. also i took out all the maor unided runes, they wernt selling so i salvaged, eh wasnt worth the effort to sell. also got a good deal on the shields in town so im taking those out also.

No. You have to unlock every rune you wish to use in PvP. I too have come to the realization that very few people understand the value of un-ID'd runes. It's too much of a pain to try to sell them.
