I've gotten countless raven staves. They look cool, but they seem worthless.

Raven staves have no requirement and +10 energy (base, no component). They are very good twink weapons. Using such a staff with insightful staff head can give up to +15 energy to a lvl3 character who has just passed the academy. They don't deal much damage? Who cares about your attack damage when you're an elementalist able to unleash hell's fire with spells, or when you a monk who will never attack the enemy.

That's cool and all, except...why in the hell would you stay in Ascalon with a cruddy staff when you can get the same stats and much more pretty easily later on?

Raven staves sell for quite a bit at the merchants, that's what I use them for.

Another very good reason these staffs exist are salvaging.

A: I've noticed you can salvage a ton of resources from them.
B: Many come with really nice mods and you can break em down for the upgrades (such as energy +5, armor +6, etc.)
C: They do look kinda cool.

I consider them vanity items, they only look cool. Neverthless I keep a shadow staff and Raven staff in my vault right next to my red iris flower but where are ghost staves dropped?

LoL, might be funny if when your attacking, it's the raven suiciding on the enemy, everytime, splat~

UK, or is it? *confused*

you should keep them, but only if you are putting a character to Ascalon (Post-Searing). Otherwise Salvaging the parts will be best advised
