My guess would be to load the first 4 skillslots you have with useless blood sacrifice spells--especially any that take a while to cast.
When the fight starts don't bother using any skillz...just go beat on him. He will start casting the blood spells and thus lowering his health accomplishing nothing while you whack him down.
I did this as an Ele: I loaded up my first 4 slots with things like Ward vs Melee (as if I would melee as an Ele) and (the funniest one) Armor of Frost (increases armor but decreases armor vs Fire). While he cast these and weakened himself, I dropped a firestorm and meteor shower on him. He was dead before I could blink.
