Wa/Ne or Wa/Mo who survives better?
Wyld Kard
I am wondering which would survive better using the right skills and equipment?
Yukito Kunisaki
This question is too simplistic so I'll give a basic answer.
W/Mo will always out-survive a W/N using everything at each warrior's disposal.
Necro skills steal health and heal yourself thereby causing enormous strain on your energy reserves because Blood Magic is very expensive.
Monk skills heal only yourself so on average, a W/Mo is using half the energy a W/N needs to survive. Therefore, with energy advantage in the W/Mo's hands, the W/Mo will survive longer.

I've a W/N17, and also have a healing monk character...
W/Mo will naturally survive on their own much longer because of healing and protection prayers, and the cost/effectiveness ratio is lower.
W/N has the potential to survive longer depending on what elements are used in combination. But this is really a party based character, since there aren't any really powerful health spells that don't require either a corpse, a hit to one's max health to use, or a very expensive cost/effectiveness ratio.
When there is a healer around, even one who is mainly focusing on other characters, I can soak up a lot of damage and dish it out in mass quantities, and tend to be the last one to fall on the battle field. But if I try to go solo and take on mobs of 6 or more, forget it.
There just isn't an affordable, yet strong healing spell in the necro profession that has a fast enough activation time. And believe me, I've tried them all with Blood Magic, Curses and Death Magic at high levels. There are some ok ones that help, but not anything like a monk has at their finger tips. My main self-healing spells are the Endure Pain stance from the warrior's Strength line, Soul Feast from the necro Death Magic line, or Parasitic Bond from the necro Curses line, depending on the party setup. But more often than not, I just take Endure Pain and that's it.
Blood Magic looked cool at first, but the vampiric spells cost a LOT of energy for very little return. I guess one could use Blood Magic if they focused solely on adrenaline skills, with very few energy ones other than their health steals... but in the end, I just didn't appreciate those spells. Monks heal much more effectively, and weapons do much more damage... imho, Blood Magic is a necro thing, or best used by a profession with better energy management.
If you want to play a fun character for parties, enjoy trying to find unique combinations, and aren't that interested in solo play, then W/N is awesome. But if you want to go solo (without Alesia) or not depend on there being a monk closeby all the time, then W/Mo is the better solution hands down.
