Troll Unguent

I was planning to make a R/Mo, and I was wondering if the skill Troll Unguent can only be casted upon yourself to be healed, or can it be casted on yourself and an ally. Thanks.

just yourself, healing spring can hit allies though

As a Ranger you have 2 quite powerful healing skills, as part of the Wilderness Survival attribute line:
- Troll Unguent gives +9 health regeneration for 10 seconds on yourself (at rank 12 in Wilderness Survival), for a total of 180 health gained. Its drawback is that it has a 3-second activation time, which is an eternity during battle. It has a pretty quick 10-second recharge time, however.
- Healing Spring gives 51 health to yourself and all nearby allies (including pets) every 2 seconds for 10 seconds (again at rank 12 in WS), for a total of 255 health gained for all affected allies. Its drawbacks are that the allies must be pretty close by (in melee range), and that it's interrupted by almost any attack, so it's best combined with a defensive stance.
If you're a R/Mo however it's probably best to rely on your Monk skills for all healing, as they can be used from a distance and have lower recharge and activation times
