Hi Guys,

New, brand new to these forums, but have been following the game for abit, but not as much as I wish I had.

Just 2 questions I hope you guys can help me with.

Since there are no servers, just one big realm, what is the lag like? Will the servers be able to handle the load of the game going live?

Also, overcrowding in areas. If you just want to kill mobs, will there be a problem with overcrowding in certain areas? Say the newbie areas, where everyone will be in the beginning of the game?

Sorry about the newbish questions, just trying to get a heads up on things.

Thanks

I am sure others will be able to post more in depth about this.

There isn't really any lag that i've noticed playing .. but I am on a 4mbit downstream of cablemodem. The great thing about this game is when you leave a town, you are in your own 'Instance' of the world, so whoever you leave town with is with you. But no one else! No kill stealing yayyyy! No loot hogging because drops are 'auto assigned' by the game

Now in town, there tends to be a lot of lag, but you can switch districts of the same town 'like an instance' of what i describe above. If you find yourself in too much lag, try switching districts in hopes of finding one with less people.

Cheers!

there are no newbie areas per se. The only areas that are persistent are the towns and outpost areas. In these areas you can interact with any number of players and form groups, etc... When you enter into PvP areas, missions, or explorable areas you form a party anywhere up to 8 people depending on the area and head forth. In these areas, the only other Player's you will run into are your own party so there will never be camping, overcrowding, etc...
