Two in game items will it work?
ARXINAL
Well just a question i'm wondering about, I pre ordered gw and I am getting the warpick now i'm thinking of going with the collectors addition mostly for the headset and art but i'm wondering if you can use both you pre order weapon and divine aura which is included with the collectors addition. Just a simple question since the wepons seem to be linked to my current account. Thanks.

The answer is yes, you will have both items on every character you create, but you will only have the pick for the BWE the aura comes when it is released and you enter in the retail code.
Edit: I believe that when you enter in your retail code it adds to your preorder account not replaces it. How else would they store your character names.

No.The key code is what determines the weapon and you cant run 2 keycodes unless you have 2 games and accounts.Chars cannot have more than one of the special items. They are concidered a no drop no trade item.
Loviatar
your only chance would be if the store would let you upgrade to the CE otherwise you buy a separate CE
gamestop for example does not allow upgrade
2 games 2 accounts
BOW or warpick for example and aura item should be both usable as 1 is weapon and the other is an item

if they both work together fine
if you have to choose which to use it is up to you
TheSecondSeven
Well from my knowledge although some were contradicting it, is...
If you have your preorder account, then add the collectors edition retail cd key to that you will have both the Pick and the Aura for all of your characters upon release.
Also dont worry too much about the pick for i believe it is only a level 1 weapon and willl only help your characters start out.

"When you input the Collector's Edition access key, each character on your account will receive the Divine Aura. If you also preordered Guild Wars and have activated the preorder access key, you will also receive the special in-game item on each of your characters. Additional details about the Divine Aura will be available close to the release of Guild Wars. "

so what is divine aura?
William of Orange
“Divine Aura”
Only an elite few gain the attention and favor of the gods, but those who do receive a celestial gift—a Divine Aura, a glowing visible token of their god’s blessing. When players purchase the Collector’s Edition of Guild Wars, each of their characters will receive this unique in-game item. Characters who equip the item are surrounded by a unique aura determined by the god who has bestowed it, and the item itself has a shape and color distinctive to that specific god. Once blessed by the gods, Divine Aura stays with a character; it cannot be traded or given to others.
Some people are thinking it has to do with boosting a characters primary attribute in some way, but other than that we won't know until the game is released.

It's an afteglow effect. As of now..nothing but your character glows... It's the tell tale that you bought the collector set.
EDIT : think of it this way.....the only thing KNOWN right now is a glow....it would be nice to have a bonus,..but wouldn't that give a collector set an unfair advantage if you allowed the boost to attributes? Hence giving them an unfair leap ahead to opponents creating a non-level playing field?...like you said..that is conjecture..great thought but plays an advantage one way.

I always kind of suspected that there would be some sort of other bonus (besides, perhaps, different colors). This is purely conjecture beyond this point, btw. But say, you get blessed by the god Dwayna, you get plus one to Divine Favor.

Think about fighting someone who's glowing, thats a little intimidating. What's the price for the collectors edition?
butcherboy
Just fight them at night and see how intimidating it is
EDIT:
Comments heard on Divine Aurora:
"Does the cool neon effect come with DUBS?"
"Mama told you not to play with the uranium and now look what happened."
"Take this Rudolf"

my GUESS is that it will be color coordinated with your profession
The first is that you can pick a boss out from a crowd because they have a colored glow around them; coincidentally the color of that glow represents the boss' profession with red indicating an Elementalist, purple indicating a Mesmer, blue indicating a Monk, dark green indicating a Necromancer, green indicating a Ranger, and yellow indicating a Warrior.
