Okay I know you can do it because, well, I have. But I got the impression somewhere that you can't upgrade over an upgrade that you added yourself.
Like if I find a bow, ID it and it has fiery mod, then lets say I want icy so I upgrade over the fiery and it all works fine. Then lets say I want shocking, I can still upgrade over the icy with the shocking, yes?
I'm really not sure where this came from, it's just in the back of my head, theres a good chance I made it up.
