Sparring Arena within a Guild Hall?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Guildwars and was just wondering if this idea has been presented. I am the leader of a small guild just starting out. We have recently aquired a guild hall. The idea is to have a sparring arena within the guild hall that would be exclusive to the guild members only. This arena would not be used to gain XP or gold. It would be a place that members could sparr one another 8v8 to better learn and prepare to battle other guilds. This arena could also be used to sparr 1v1 to determine rank, or just to have fun and be able to compete against your guildmate friends. Is this idea possible, practical, or just plain ludicrous? A little feedback would be most appreciated.

Supposedly this has been on it's way since well before Alpha ended. I remember reading posts that it was on its way back when I was in the alpha test. It still isn't here as far as I'm aware. Granted, I haven't been able to play since release due to life so I'm not sure if there's something I'm not aware of.

I also propose A FRIGGIN STORAGE in the guild hall. wtf?

Someone mentioned guild storage, and others said it would be abused by low level guild members.

I prefer a Guild Vendor. One that guild officers could put items in, and then set prices for those items. Would be even better with an in game, guild points tracking system, but I digress

1) Guild Sparring area in the guild hall

2) Guild Storage (and Guild Bank!)

3 solutions:

meet in the "Team arena" (droknars forge, wasnt it?).
make 2 guilds and do a friendly guild battle.
Make a competitive speedrun trough the underworld with Voicechat.

This is very true, a level 2 with a max damage hammer??? and has black dyes with steel ingots??? My guild requires you to be at LEAST a lvl 8 which is easy and quick to attain, but it does not make us feel as bad when we give the lvl 8 a gold weapon and such.

We also keep any good drops to give to our other guild members, like everyone looks out for the other members so they get it anyway.
