question about hex/spell

my question is will arcane echo work with life transfer? cause it says echo ends prematurly if you use a non-spell skill (does that mean it doesnt work with non-spells or just not as long) and also is a hex considered a spell?

Hexes (and enchantments) are spells, they're debuff and buff respectively, so it's just a special classification for them (btw, a recent post has already been made regarding this question).

So yes Life Transfer will work with Arcane Echo, and by prematurely I'd imagine it means the window of time given to you to cast your next spell to be copied is stopped if instead you used a non-spell
