Why do people hate on collectors sellers?

I sell the 20/20 storm artifact for 500 gold. It take 5 stone summit badges in droknar's forge to get it. When people ask what I need the badges for I tell them about the collector. I am open with my information and yet I get hated on. The funny thing is about 55-60% of my buyers are level 20s. I have been paid before by a level 20 over 10k to go farm for an item that she knew was collectors. Still I get hated on by some people. In my view during the time I am getting badges and trying to sell I can make more farming. In fact this is not how I make most of my money. This is what I do when I take a break from farming. Some people who fuss act like I should do it for free. I tell them to keep up doing it for free. I think they will eventually quit doing this and in the end people will not have the items. I view myself as making me a profit and for a reasonable price (500 gold really isn't that much) delivering a valuable service to others.

its not that they hate collectors items. They just hate greedy people who are trying to sell them for way over what its worth. By saying its not a collectors and charging 5k+ for an item when you could just find the collector n only spend bout 600g for the items or alrdy found it for the swap.

i think its perfectly ok. If someone wants to sell something to someone else who is to lazy to get the item himself, let them. If they want to sell it for jacked up prices, let them. Its not the people selling who should be looked down upon, just the people buying.

what i don't get is when people complain about you selling collecters items for 2.5-3k when if you went to the desert and sold the individual pieces you can often get 2.5k anyway even before it's a real item. mark up seems fair considering farming in the desert is by no means a cake walk especially when you're looking for bleeched shells.

I don't like using collector's items myself, but stats are stats, and the collector's items can be quite nice stat wise. People are just too busy playing dress-up barbie to care about stats anymore. (Stormbow)

yeah those are the ones that get me going. i hate it when someones like yeah that perfect item is worthless because it doesn't look as good as my better looking item with crappy stats. i know it's not max dmg and the mods are far from perfect but it's better than yours because the blade is a little longer and silver. i mean come on...

I charge 500 gold for some items, but I understand people charging 5 and 10k for some. I wouldn't want to go take the time trying to get them for 5k or 10k. When I bought one collectors item I offered 2k knowingly because I thought for that item it was a fair price for the trouble.

500 gold is a good price, its probly less then buying each piece that u need to get the item. some can go for 1k-2k like the helms in the amnoon oasis, thats not a bad price
