Because I've been shown the light about having a Monk Primary/Warrior Secondary, but I just don't think that an Elementalist/Warrior could ever work. With my limited knowledge of melee classes the only benefits I could see for having a warrior secondary would be the stances and the endure pain and whatnot. Maybe if you're a funny monk you give your team a speed-boost with Charge!.
So when is the warrior secondary applicable and when does it completely fail?
When is a Warrior Secondary a Bad Idea?

really depends on your build.
warrior secondary has 2 benifits.
1) to have a weapon mastery if you want to use a weapon.
2) to have stances/shouts from tatics.
if neither of those are your goal, pick a different 2ndary.

I don't think a Me/W would do well IMO

A very good build using warrior secondary is the Illusionary Weaponry mesmer/warrior. In fact, it was probably too good before they made 100 blades elite.
*Added*: I just remembered some r/w builds that mainly use warrior skills but had ranger as the primary class to take advantage of expertise. IIRC there is a build written by Saus that was r/w and uses Flourish.

ya hundred blades going elite really messed up the whole idea behind IW
now all you have is cyclone axe, but that only hits once.

Me/W with Flurry still does good damage, not as good as 100 blades, but it's still decent. You could theoretically play warrior secondary with any class, some alphas swear by N/W who some of my guildies play Mo/W and R/W. The only one I don't see much of is E/W, and I don't know why.

R/W is also posted with a great Flourish build on this web I think. Expertise cuts the 5 mana cost of the skills to say 3? and gain is 5 each, and instant recycle. Dunno who posted it, I asked and he said he did like 1 SKILL every SECOND. Can you believe it? (more skills were made 5 energy last month, before that Flourish was hard to make worthwhile).
