Amazon.com screwed up

I ordered standard (3-5) day shipping on April 1. I ordered Guild Wars and the Presale package.
Now, it estimates that both will arrive between the days of May 1-May 5. Now what on earth will I do with a $5 presale disc ($1 for the disc, $3.99 for the shipping) then? Will I be able to still get the special item/reserve my character's name even if Amazon screws up? Do you know of anybody I could contact about this who is in some sort of place of power in the Guild Wars team?
Any help/suggestions would be lovely

Just a guess here, but Amazon was out of stock on the item when I checked there. Unless you're dead set on that bonus item (and the general consensus on the bonus items is that they'll only be good for the lower levels), I'd cancel your order and re-order through someone that still has the pre-order package in stock.

I actually just ordered a preorder from Amazon in order to try to lure a friend in. As far as I know, it should arrive tomorrow (the shipping page looks like everything is in order). Definitely contact Amazon, and if worse comes to worst, you can always ask them to cancel your order if they ship it so late. EBgames has their preorders at $5, and while you can't order the preorder package by itself on the website, you can walk into most EB stores to get a preorder (assuming that you live in either the US or Canada, of course).

If you wish to wait for Amazon, I still have a few friends keys left, and so you can reserve your names that way. Granted, it won't help you with gaining a preorder item , but.. the offer is still there.

I have just cancled my order for the game, but they wont let me cancel the preorder...so I guess...I will get 2 items? I dont know. But thank you all for the help/support.

I ordered yesterday from Amazon , just the disks for some friends.

It says they will ship today - however here is the message I got.

We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed.

It also says I will recieve the items between April 9 -13.


Hopefully it goes through...

Pre disks just shipped from Amazon. I will have them in a few days so some of my extended friends can play this Beta.
