Too many stickys?

It's really just a minor thing, but am I the only one that thinks the Q&A forum has a tad too many Sticky threads? When you want to browse through several pages of the forums, it's a little annoying to scroll past the full screen of stickys each time. Meh, I guess it's better than scrolling past 3 pages of the same questions over & over...

I tend to agree, I think they could be compacted a bit. It wouldn't be as bad if they didn't appear one every page whne you look back through posts but yeah, there's a few too many I think. I know when I fisrt got here I skipped over them because there was too much to go through. Thankfull the search function saved me.

I agree. This applies to some other forums too, not only Q&A.

Prune them stickies!

I think that it could be done.

Problem:
People don't read.

Even if we took all of them, compacted them into one single sticky, you know for sure that there will be those odd people who just ignore them and go about doing whatever they want thinking we have no "rules" in place to keep things from going from dumb to stupid within 5 seconds. Might end up with a lot of banned people that way.

I'll bring it up with the admins and see what the say, figure if all else fails, I'll 'attempt' an index of threads. Figure we can see how it works.

Kind of wish signatures were back so I can just post each of the rules and whatnot in there for people to read after I post. LoL. Saves me lots of copy paste.
