Divine Boon or not?

I'm making a PvP monk, and I'm considering wether I should use Divine Boon or not. 2 energy and -1 pip for 67 extra healing is probably worth the mana, but when you're low on mana (as often in PvP) then maybe that extra energy is badly needed... I'm not sure. I need some advice,

Well, when you're low on energy, you can always double click on the Divine Boon icon and it will cancel it.

I haven't tried it for PvP, but it works very well for me in some circumstances in PvE. Here's some advice. Take Signet of Devotion, it gives you a 0-energy heal that isn't affected by Divine Boon's energy loss. Use mostly low cost heals, or maybe don't even bring heals at all. With Divine Boon and high Divine Favor, you may want to go for a 12-Divine Favor, 12-Protection build.

Divine Boon is only worth it if you're Protection spec, IMO. Your far too likely to overheal, otherwise.

I like using Peace & Harmony with Divine Boon and a host of protection and ward spells.

If you spec for it, then YES to divine Boon, it's more than double the healing for the same cost of energy.
