I'm currently writing an Underworld FAQ and I'm looking for builds for the following purposes:
Tank
Puller/Trapper
Healer
Protector
Nuker/Damage Dealer
Mana Supporter/Damage Dealer (Should be a Necro with Blood Ritual and Well of Power for keeping mana high for mages/healers)
I've got a protector build below along with an explaination. Something similar to what I have would be helpful, but make sure it's tailored for and tested in the underworld. Good Builds I choose will be added into the guide and the author will be credited alongside their build.
Protector: Mana Guardian
Class: Elementalist/Monk
Attributes:
Earth Magic: 10+3 (Stone's Eye + Major Earth Rune)
Energy Storage: 11+1 (Minor Energy Storage Rune)
Protection Prayers: 10
Skills:
Obsidian Flame
Ward Against Melee
Ward Against Elements
Ether Prodigy (ELITE)
Remove Hex/Convert Hexes/Purge Conditions/Pacifism
Protective Bond
Aegis
Rebirth
The point of this build is to keep your tanks alive using Protective Bond, which limits them to 5% of their max HP for one hit. This makes warriors die in 20 hits rather than 3, which will let your monks heal a lot better. Protective Bond can sap a ton of your MP, which is why energy storage is high. You can also use Ether Prodigy when you are low on MP to keep maintaining those enchantments. Ward Against Melee and Aegis both help to save mana by preventing hits. You can use Obsidian Flame to dish out a nice 100 damage, though be careful not to take too much exaustion. Ward Against Elements helps with magic. Slot 5 is somewhat a wild slot. You can put anything here, though I reccommend an anti-hex or anti-condition spell. Pacifism could be helpful, however most groups are too uncoordinated to avoid damage on an enemy. Rebirth can also be used when needed.

Don't contribute too quickly all. I've gotten an interesting build for a Warrior though I could always use more.
Also if anyone is especially enthusiastic about exploring the underworld, and is interested in joining a group for it feel free to post here and I'll contact you outside. I'm starting up a group to do some real in-depth exploration and I need dedicated and experienced UW people to help out.

i would be interested in hearing from anyone who can survive in the underworld for more than 5 seconds lol i tried it twice with henchies my lev 20 w/n with all the trimings, and a ranger lev 20 r/me...............lets just say it was very humbling.
i thought the ideal tank was w/n. what i do is put 11 attribute points into blood magic and use well of blood which gives a +5 health regen to anyone standing in the circle and it keeps the tanks alive for twice as long. only problem is you need a corpse and the energy to use it.when i got my new armor i lost 7 energy but went from 71 to 85 armor,now im only at 20 and it takes 15 energy to use(not to mention some primary warrior skills that take energy also)..im gonna try switching to elementalist and hopefully i can gain energy with attribute points(elementalist energy storage) and put the rest into fire magic and at least be able to "nuke" while im hacking away.i love necro but not as a warrior secondary because of the energy it takes and the multiple attributes you need to use it effectively i am looking forward to any ideas on a warrior(tank) builds for the underworld.

I'm interested in fully exploring the underworld. I'm currently using a el/mo with fire and earth. Earth is only for the protective wards, so that another player doesn't have to worry over them. I really only use about 4 fire skills anyway, so it made sense for me to be the one to bring the wards. For stats, my fire and energy are both as high as I can get them and every thing left is in earth. My IGN is Killashandra Ree.

I find that this is a good build for smites when you wouldn't be hitting mobs. You can deal damage and tank at the same time especailly when your party is all about ele doing AE and tank wall.
Word of Healing is to help your monks with healing when other tanks are going down. Its really useful.
I haven't tried using gladiator's defense cos I haven't really die fast after using this build. Anyone have any nice tank build for UW to share?

The healing monk build i use for the underworld and fissure is a Mo/Me but i dont use any Me skills so you can use any secondary.

Haha I found probably one of the best builds for UW runs in the game.
8 Rangers. Lvl 20. Sub-class does not matter.
Skills: All traps, and form of ressurrect, anything else to players discretion.
Group lays traps, one player runs out and lure enemies into traps, instant death.

Well, I don't see that you need to have specific underworld builds for all those areas, as many are going to be similar to builds you would find for any other higher level content.
I also don't really believe in giving complete builds, as I think it's more important to know how to use a build well than it is to have a good build. Developing and fine tuning your own build will make you a lot more effective than simply copying off the internet. I do, however, thoroughly recommend a water ele using Mist Form, backed up by a Balth's Aura casting smiting monk. Of course, spells like Blurred Vision, Deep Freeze, Ice Prison etc ensure that a water ele isn't just a one trick wonder.
The thing to remember is that you'll never get up to the level of the creatures in the Underworld, but that you can bring them down to yours.
