I'm thinking of upgrading...need opinions on whether or not I should...

That's a great shield, max def for low req. I'd go with the Zealous Spatha of fortitude, too. wow, I wish I could get my hands on these.

What kind of attacks do blunt attacks refer to?

blunt attacks are usually considered hammer attacks

slashing is sword/axe

piercing is bow/piercing axe

I say change the shield... expert salvage or buy new parts for the swords... go find a collector with 15% on the sword then upgrade it with hilt and grip.

If you want look... it might take awhile longer.

Will an upgrade from a 12% to a 15% even make a difference in damage output?

13% is ok, 12% is where u want to push a little... it gets more when u r talking about buffed situation. If it was an axe, I wouldn't have care (cleave spammage)... but a sword with things like final thrust, I tend to push all the way.

Interesting...but how much damage does the extra percentage(s) add? From my calculations (I might be wrong), that extra 3% adds at most around 3-4 damage, if not less...
