Ways to get lots of money

How is it that everyone has so much money? I am a level 10 Mo/N and I have 68g...I look at some pictures and some level 10's have 10 platinum...What are some of you ways for getting quick money?

any level 10 with 10+ platinum

either
- has a higher level character (most common)
- was lucky with finding an expensive rune

they could have just gotten the gold from storage which they earned from their previous characters.

But where are some good ruins? And what are some other good ways to make money?

i definatly had 10 plat at lvl 10.... hit 100plat at lvl 18.

What kind if ways?

one way for me is not wasting money on stuff i dont need, for example people who buy runes, upgrades, dye at low level and then use them on stuff that is not worth it. Also running around by yourself in places you know you can survive solo, if your lvl 10 just run around outside ascalon and kill all the stuff and get the loot all to yourself.

I farmed pre-sear for dye. when I left the academy I had about 40Plat worth of dye. it's just like real life...don't spend money on things you don't need....don't get new armor every chance you get...don;t buy weapons you don't need....don't dye your clothing 19 times until you find the color you like....sell items to the proper merchents/traders

I left Pre-Searing with 2 plat and no items (didnt realize you could sell most of it for more at the time) after that I just explored areas, did missions and everyquest I could find, make sure to pick up all your loot. I have heard of alot of people who will just leave the white items, but that stuff adds up fast, as long as you have the bag space, pick it up and sell it to the merchant.

So you mean your storage is communal to all the characters associated with your account (sorry, just starting a second character so I've never stumbled across this feature yet)?

Correct. You can store, what, 1000 Platinum in your storage to be used by any of your characters and 100 on your person I believe.

Meh, i have 30plat atm, and have about 7 major runes (including vigor) and 3 sup's. I have a few black dye i've found around.

Selling them would make me quite a bit and i found them all. Also i've had gold max dmg stuff drop for me.

When you sell it all you could buy some good stuff for cheap, and go sell it double to other people... it's easy to make money.

Good but mean thing to do.... tell someone that a forgotten seal (collectors item) is what you need to buy a guild hall and charge him 60plat.... it's his fault for being stupid and if he had raised 60plat without help from friends, ebay, etc he would know what he was buying.... what goes around comes around

successfully salvages 1 sup rune entire time played (all chars) my emo has over 300hrs & 250k exp clocked , completed almost all quests & unlocked tons of skills & towns (all towns up the first co-op after droknars), my Eme is lvl12 & my Wra lvl10, I have a total of 7p143g on my emo & about 345 on my Wra, my eme was stripped & fed my emo... I salvage almost everything & have a few piles of wood,bone,stuff which most of the time far easier to sell to npc , as they offer more for it, to get a decent price from another player is bloody ridiculous, not to mention Time consuming & stressful (last night is one example.. i tried to sell 250 wood for 2k, yes 2k , this fool wanted to buy them at 1500 & then started calling me a scammer when i wouldnt sell to him for 1750.. i thought 2k was cheap... anywhooo) .. trading is in deed a crucial & as diffulcult as they make it in other games, some have the capitilist spirit.. some dont & get by on the little they have ..

there is a good point to being humble, honourable & honest, just cant remember what that is atm...
