Worth It??

Is it worth it to Pre-order Guild wars...? I mean I honstly dont think it will be as big as WoW(which i do not play [is it any good]) So do you think its wroth it??

You come to a fansite to ask if it's worth it? I'm not making fun of you just that any opinion you receive here will be bias (we obviously thought it was worth it). If it helps, in 4 years I've never touched a subscription game and that is the reason why I joined. Now I'm in love with it and I "hope" it lasts. There are all kinds of reasons people could give you to tell you it's worth it, in the end you decide. $5 gets you a peek at Guild Wars, you don't even have to contribute the whole $50 for the game like other RPG's

its well worth it, it happens to be one of the best games ive ever played period, not just talking in MMO standards here either, and you get to learn more about the game when you beta it, even tho theres only one beta event left it still gets you into the game on the 27th instead of the 28th if you preorder, theres a few similar topics like this on the boards, i suggest you use the search option to find one or two as im to tired to go into a detialed description agin on how this game rules them all.

Why would that matter, one way or the other? The game is what it is, it'll be just as fun whether it has a tenth as many or ten times as many fans as WoW.

Not really being an MMO, but instead a game you play in small groups, the size of the total fan base doesn't have much impact on you, just as long as there are enough players to put together a good team. Whether there are a hundred other teams or a hundred thousand others won't make a bit of difference to you (save perhaps that if there are too many others, there's the possibility of overstressing the servers).

You can figure that out for yourself, look at the website, this isnt like WoW...WoW was boring, this is fun and alot less pressure. ITS ALL ABOUT FUN!!. I suggest you try this game no matter what your opinion on it is at the current moment.

You could always look at the *countless* number of threads of varying topics. But to answer your question, yes, it's an awe-inspiring game.
