say if i am using a hammer and i press 4 skills all at once
(ie: all are energy based)
the skills are queued and executed in hte order that i press
will this make my warrior swing faster ? or the next swing of my warrior becomes that attack and i forfeits normal attack

If the skill you use requires casting time your toon will first take time to cast the spell, then do the swing.
Having said that ... most warrior skills got a casting time of zero. This means the spell is instantly ready, but isn't executed until the next swing. Your toon will still need the time to do the swing. With a hammer that's 1 swing every 1.75 seconds. Casting multiple spells won't make him swing faster. It's only 1 spell executed per swing, in order of casting them, not all 4 of them together.

Re-reading your post ...
Are we talking about attack spells here, i.e. spells that boost a melee weapon attack? Such spells typically got a casting time of 0, but won't be executed until you do the next melee weapon attack, as explained above.
On the other hand, if we're talking about normal spells, those require some time for casting. While you cast such a spell your toon pauses melee attacking.

ya , i was refering to those instant weapon attacks.
i was thinking of making a hammer build that uses lots of energy using skills coupled with flourish. dont think it will work out that well now , since its still handicaped by the slow hammer swing speed.
thanks for the reply

regarding flourish
i was thinking of making a theme build with mes/war since
mes has got those long recharge spells.
will flourish recharge non-warrior skills
signet-skills ?
which skill will come under its category of "attack skills" ?
pls add in any comments also , i might be totally off track here and a
reality check might be good

Whereever it says "attack" behind the skill name (e.g. "melee attack" or "axe attack") is an attack skill. If I remember correctly, only warriors got attack skills.

Will you even be able to obtain Flourish with a non-Warrior primary (since it's controlling attribute is strength)?
Acan Vishnu
You can capture all skills available for both of your professions regardless of attribute.
