alright i am making a ranger/monk when game comes out this is the build im thinking for pvp. Usually in groups you cant always count on the healer so i think its a good idea to be able to support yourself. In pvp i barely ever get healed by a healer so this is why i made this build tell me what u think.

+2 marksmanship on items
11 marksmenship
10 wilderness survival
10 healing prayers

1: restore life
2: penetrating attack
3: balthazar's spirit
4: punishing shot
5: troll urgent
6: healing breeze
7: vigorous spirit
8: read the wind

im thinking read the wind would work realy good with vigorous spirit, and balthazar's spirit for energy. Then when im not being attacked use penetrating attack and punishing shot. I did suggest to put in pindown but i didnt have enough slots. Im aiming for both pvp and pve build it seems good to me? See i like to kinda support myself if healer dies and support my group so i think the heals are good for pve and pvp.

You say you want the healing spells to heal yourself (and team), but you have Troll Unguent. Without Expertise, Troll Unguent is a waste if you have Healing Breeze. You don't have the energy management to use the healing spells properly like a caster can.

And with no expertise, you are looking at a heavy energy using build here. With Balthazar's Spirit you'll be relying too much on taking the damage, which will most likely only happen after the monks are dead. I'm not even sure if Marksman's Wager will come in handy since it will be just base skill stats.

Vigorous Spirit is nice, but it will be useless for you with and without a monk. A monk will be much better at keeping you healed, and if you are relying on it healing you after the monks are dead then you will be getting far too much damage for it to sustain you.

It seems more of a PvE build, and even then your efficiency as a ranger looks only 50-80% to its potential.

I believe that it falls under wilderness survival and not expertise and having someone thrown in a healing breeze every once and a while really does help out a monk dramtically, not only is healing breeze and good healing spell but it is also a good spell to counter hp degens i.e. bleeding poison conjure phantism etc....

i perfer R/Me over R/Mo so you can throw in a backfire and continue to attack from a distance

i know where your coming from when you say that u perfer to keep yourself healed no matter what class i am i always have a plan to keep my hp going up instead of down because in PvP the monk is usually worring about him/her self more then you and with the monk taking the heat you can concentrate more on dmg and degens

I would recommend adding meladrus arrows or apply poison the degen will be the killer not the dmg from your arrows

i'm not sure if healing springs is expertise of wilderness but it is a good idea to bring if you can it will help the casters and monk out a lot if you can keep them within its healing radius

I would also drop both balt spirit and vigerous spirit because the ranger is one of the last professions to be attacked and when u do get attacked it will most likly be too late for you to res enuff people to actually make a difference

Another thing i might add is to drop the restore life in PvP and take the sig it resses MUCH faster and brings them back to life with full hp restore life is easily interupted and if you have enuff time to cast that then the team your facing obviously isnt that great in PvP and you should not be dying = p I personally have only seen one person get a restore life off but while they were casting it they were taking dmg and by the time the people were ressed both the caster and the ressie had almost no health left and it was game over for the both of them

I love to offer advice and if you would like anymore just ask you might not agree with it but that is y there r losers and winners because we all do something a little different from eachother good luck with your ranger.

Go smiting. Only reason to use healing enchants would be to protect fighting melee types. Pet build anyone?
