I have finished the game with one character and would now like to enjoy the pvp content that opens up with HoH and GvG action but guess what.....
1)Apparently I missed the part on the box where it said DON'T BE A WARRIOR
if you want to find a random group for pvp at Tombs
2)I have neither the time nor the inclination to beat the same game numerous
times to gain the necessary skills/items/runes to use a different char
3)I have neither the time nor the inclination to farm xp to get the necessary
skill points with one character to unlock all the skills to use a different char
4)All the pre-built pvp templates SUCK
In conclusion, PLEASE add some decent pvp templates to choose from since I wouldn't someone else's pve experience cheapened by adding an Unlock All button added to the game.

Make your own PvP character. that's why theres a custom button on the bottom of all of the templates. Don't come here, and flame the game because it doesn't fit all of your specific needs. Make your own build, with your own strategy, with your own skills/runes/armors/weapons and quit complaining...seriously.

I paid my 50 bucks like everyone else, I'll flame it all I want because my opinion matters just as much as everyone elses. I would love to create a custom pvp build but I can only use the skills I've unlocked and I don't have all the ones I need to build the characters I want and since I've already beaten the pve portion of the game any more time spent there is about as much fun as work WHICH I GET PAID FOR, not the other way around.

Yes, your opinion does matter, but this is not something Guild Wars NEEDS at the moment, which you seem to want. Right now, the dev team is leaving it to the players to get their own builds, so they can focus on making the game better by actually finishing the features they intend to put in(like finishing the 15k armor skins)

*Lets out a sinister chuckle* This is kinda funny, I gotta admit. If you want sucky PVP try some of these other MMOs where ganking, cheating, gang wars and hoarding is an everyday thing.

I don't mind having the templates, but I would agree that they just don't seem to fit as to what I would want to bring out to play.
What I would want is a way to save my custom PvP char. configurations in my own templates (perhaps 3 or 4). This would make it much quicker/easier to shred my PvP char (other 3 slots taken by required PvE unlock combinations) and take one of my PvP 'templates'.
Custom 1: Prot/Healer combo.
Custom 2: PvP Disruptor/Minionator
Custom 3: <slot available>
Custom 4: <slot available>

Uhh, your warrior has a secondary class right? You can roll a PvP character that is based on that secondary. I played up a W/E since W are so nice for PvE. I then roll Elementalists all the time at the HoH since they are so nice for PvP.
As far as I don't want to spend the time. Your first character takes a long time to get through. My R/Me is through to Ring of Fire in under 40 hours (including some time to go grab a few Elites along the way). If you are planning on really playing the HoH much 40 hours is nothing in the grand scheme of things, a run into the hall, even if you don't die once trying to get through is an hour of fighting, not counting the time to form the team and get a plan together.
I never used the preroll templates until yesterday and I noticed they let you swap out skills and weapons which is nice. So if you see say a Me/W and you don't like the prebuild template exactly you can keep the Me skills and use the W skills you've unlocked to change it.

I tend to dislike people that complain, but thunder here has come rather to my liking. He shares similar points, just maybe different situations. I was able to build a secondary character and i've stopped him at droknars. My first is a w/mo, I unlock elites and neccesary skills with him by changing secondary, the reason i am still capable of making PVP builds is because I conserve skill points, buying/questing for the ones i need insted of feeling the need to unlock every single one. The variety and selection is already done when i look up the skills on GWG, all that's left is to pick them out and find them. It's easier and more time conserving than creating a new character.
